RE-USE-IT Centre 

The Russell landfill's Re-Use-It Centre accepts donations of used furniture and household items that are in good, working/operational condition. The only items that are not accepted are cloth furniture and mattresses. 

 Manitoba Used Oil Recycling Program

The Russell - Binscarth/Riding Mountain West Nuisance Grounds now has a Used Oil EcoCentre.

Please bring your used oil products for recycling.

OIL - Any petroleum or synthetic crankcase oil, engine oil, hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid, gear oil, heat transfer fluid or other fluid used for lubricating purposes in machinery or equipment.

OIL FILTERS - Any spin-on or element oil filter that is used in hydraulic, transmission or internal combustion engine applications and includes diesel fuel filters but does not include gasoline fuel filter.

CONTAINERS - any plastic container with the capacity of less than 30 litres that is manufactured to hold oil.

Reminder:  Only refrigerators that have had the Freon removed by a licensed outlet with a sticker attached, can be deposited at the landfill site. (Freon removal can be done by:  Brian McNair, Shebry Refrigeration, Binscarth 204-532-2144)
